When Ralph created the Toy Log Cabin Building Set plans in 2012, he knew the design would make birdhouses and feeders too. He reworked the basic plans to use cedar as it is commonly available at home centers. Weather and insect resistant, cedar is an excellent material for these projects, but it planes out at 5/8" thick, so the dimensions had to be reworked.
All the information needed to create the birdhouse and feeder shown in our Log Cabin Bird House Plans video is provided, but since this is a modified log cabin building set, you can make more or fewer parts and build whatever size and style you wish.
