Episodes 3-4: Library Stand

Woodcademy TV Library Stand

Woodcademy TV's second project (Episodes 3 and 4) is a Library Stand featuring a movable top to adjust the reading angle and elegant bent-wood parts adding grace and strength. It can be used in a library, as a lectern or even a stand-up desk. You'll learn how to create the forms and laminate these parts, a useful skill even if you're not planning on building this stand.

Episode 3 takes you through the process of creating the strips for laminating, making the forms, gluing and cleaning up you bent-wood parts.

Episode 4 completes the build teaching the use of dowel centers, a blind nail kit and even shows my mistakes and how I fixed them.
