Sushi Tray Plans
This classy serving tray is a modern take on a traditional Japanese "Geta" sushi tray. Featuring a bamboo body, cherry ends and dovetail keys. Two of the keys extend beyond the surface to provide rests for chopsticks.
These plans are expanded and updated from the article I wrote for Woodcraft Magazine's March 2007 issue and include measured drawings and the Idea Room 3D model. I show you how to work with the bamboo, make the key stock and safely create the small butterfly keys. An excellent project for your home, a wedding or housewarming gift.
